Engineering Manager - Wind Farms

Colchester, Essex

c£70,000 plus car plus bonus

We are currently recruiting an Engineering Manager / Wind Farm Manager to join a busy & expanding company operating in the wind & renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities... The Wind Farm Engineering Manager will take in hand the delivery of technical, commissioning & operational support resulting in the delivery of a large scale offshore wind farm in the Thames Estuary / off the Suffolk Coast, with first power output planned in 2017, subsequently taking responsibility for the full operational life of the wind farm.

Skills and Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have a degree level engineering qualification (or equivalent experience), combined with a proven background in offshore wind turbine O&M engineering issues. Line management experience & technical understanding of wind turbine components, structures & electrical generation would be very advantageous.

There is a good package with salary of c£60,000 plus car or car allowance, pension, healthcare etc & opportunity to further your career in the wind / renewable energy sector.

This role is commutable from Colchester, Chelmsford, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Essex etc & current driving licence required.
