Engineering Maintenance Planner (power sector)

£35,000 + benefits


Our client, a cutting edge power station, are currently recruiting an Engineering Maintenance Planner to join the leadership team, where you will plan & coordinate all planned maintenance activates at the site.

Your varied duties will include improving work force productivity & quality by anticipating & eliminating (so far as possible) potential delays by planning, scheduling & coordinating maintenance resource, [art, materials & equipment. In addition, you will plan & schedule shutdowns (major & minor)

You will need to have an engineering qualification, & a proven track record in mechanical &/or electrical Planned & Preventative Maintenance with the power generation or related sectors. IT literacy, communication skills & a familiarity with Gantt charts, Critical path analysis & CMMS systems would be very advantageous.

This would be an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a career move longer term towards Maintenance Manager positions.

There is a salary of up to £35,000 plus 25 days, life assurance & pension with this opportunity in return for a for a 37.5 hour week.

This role is commutable from Swindon, South Wales, Cheltenham etc & current driving licence preferred.
