Engineering Instructor - Electrical

Up to £32,000 + benefits

Permanent, Full Time

Gosport, Hampshire

Our client, a leading engineering training provider, currently require an Electrical Engineering Instructor / Trainer / Teacher to join their team. You'll be teaching apprentices electrical engineering subjects to BTEC / NVQ levels 2 & 3, incorporating engineering maths and health & safety.

As an Engineering Instructor, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering academic and curriculum programmes to electrical apprentices - Level 2 & 3.
  • Developing the BTEC / NVQ programmes in readiness for delivery.
  • Providing innovate and engaging teaching & learning strategies.
  • Lesson planning, preparing course materials, along with managing student performance and writing progress reports.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have proven experience working in a hands on Electrical Technician / Electrical Fitter role, along with ideally having prior experience instructing / teaching / providing training to apprentices. You will also need to hold an electrical engineering qualification (HNC / HND / degree / NVQ level 3).

They're offering a competitive salary of up to £32,000 depending in experience, plus benefits which includes a 37-hour week, share option and pension scheme.
