Up to £36,000 plus benefits
South East - Field Based
Our client, a leading company within the Renewable Energy & Power Generation sector, are currently seeking to recruit an Engine Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician / Field Service Engineer to join their team. You'll be carrying out major maintenance, overhauls & rebuilds on a range of large gas & CHP engines on sites across the South East.
As an Engine Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting major maintenance, overhauls & rebuilds on large gas & CHP engines.
- Working as part of a team of Engineers, ensuring safe & efficient operation of the generating plant.
- Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times.
- Travelling to sites across the South East, which may involve overnight stays away.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship/HNC/HND, etc.). You should have experience carrying out maintenance & overhauls on large reciprocating engines (Caterpillar, Perkins, Deutz, Jenbacher, Wartsila, or similar).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large competitor within the Renewable Energy sector. This is a field based position covering a number of sites across the South East of the UK, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
The package on offer for this role includes a salary in the range of £30,000 to £36,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits including van, tools, pension & holidays.
