Engine Maintenance Technician

£28,000 - £34,000

Newark, Nottinghamshire

We are currently seeking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician / Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, to carry out service and maintenance activities on large Gas Engines based in the Newark area. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team.

As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Planned & reactive maintenance on large reciprocating Gas Engines
  • Commissioning & service duties
  • Operational duties to ensure engine is running optimally
  • Working as part of the call out rota
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a relevant Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC, apprenticeship, etc.). You should have relevant working knowledge of large landfill gas / biogas engines (Jenbacher, Caterpillar, Deutz, Perkins, etc.), and hands-on maintenance experience.

This is a permanent position with an attractive salary in the range of £28,000 - £34,000, plus company benefits etc. This is a Mon-Fri position and you will be part of the call out rota.
