Engine Maintenance Technician - Landfill Gas
Up to £35,000 DoE + Benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician / Field Service Engineer / CHP Engineer, to carry out fault finding, routine & planned maintenance on a range of Landfill Gas Engines. Our client is a leading organisation within the power generation sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team.
As an Engine Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Routine & planned maintenance (PPM) on Landfill Gas Engines
- Carrying out mechanical fault finding on the engines.
- Working as part of a team of Engineers, ensuring safe & efficient operation of the generating plant.
- Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / NVQ / City & Guilds etc.). You should have experience carrying out maintenance on large reciprocating engines (Caterpillar, Perkins, Deutz, Jenbacher, Wartsila, or similar).
