Engine Maintenance Technician
c£35,000 DoE plus benefits

We are currently seeking to recruit a CHP Engineer / Engine Maintenance Technician / Field Service Engineer, to carry out planned & reactive maintenance on a range of Large Gas Engines. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Engine Technician to join their team.
As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Planned & reactive maintenance on large gas & CHP engines such as Jenbacher.
- Carrying out fault finding activities on the gas engines.
- Performing remote start-ups of back-up engines if there is a breakdown.
- Working as part of a team of Engineers, ensuring safe & efficient operation of the generating plant.
- Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / NVQ / City & Guilds etc.). You should have experience carrying out maintenance on large reciprocating gas engines (Caterpillar, Perkins, Deutz, Jenbacher or similar).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading company within the fast-growing Renewable Energy sector. This is a field-based position covering a number of sites which are commutable from the Chesterfield, Nottingham, Lincoln & Sheffield area.
The package on offer for this role includes a salary in the region of £35,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits including company van, pension & 25 days holidays.
