Engine Maintenance Technician
£30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) plus benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician / Field Service Engineer / Gas Engine Technician, to carry out routine & reactive maintenance on a number of large reciprocating engines across the Lincolnshire area. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector, with a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer to join their team carrying out maintenance activities on reciprocating gas engines.
As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Planned major maintenance works on large gas engines (decokes, etc.)
- Working as part of a team of Engineers, ensuring safe & efficient operation of the generating plant
- Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
- Ensuring the repair/re-build isn't compromised and is executed on time without disruption to other site activities
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship/HNC/HND, etc.). You should have experience carrying out maintenance on large reciprocating engines (Caterpillar, Perkins, Deutz, Jenbacher, Wartsila, or similar) or, if you have experience working in a similar industry, full training can be provided.
This is a field-based position covering a number of sites across the Lincolnshire / Norfolk region of the UK, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
The package on offer for this role includes a salary in the range of £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits including van, pension & holidays.
