Engine Maintenance Technician - Landfill
Salary - c£30,000 + Vehicle
Location - Leeds

Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of power generation from landfill gases. They are currently seeking a full time permanent Engine Maintenance Technician/Engineer to maintain large Caterpillar and Perkins gas engines on two landfill sites in Leeds.

Your responsibilities as Engine Maintenance Technician will include:

  • Commissioning, servicing and repairing large gas engines and associated plant (e.g. Caterpillar & Perkins)
  • Carrying out gas balancing when needed and adjusting the engine accordingly
  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on all engines
  • Specifying spare parts, maintaining stock and records
  • Attending call outs when required
  • Abiding by Health & Safety procedures and environmental compliance
  • Travelling to additional sites to help other teams within the company



The successful applicant will have a HNC/HND or higher in a relevant field, be able to work well within a team, have proven experience previously servicing large gas to energy engines, the ability to travel to other sites so a full and clean UK driving licence is required.
