Electrical Technician - Water Treatment

Home based (Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire)

£27,000 + Overtime & Call Out, Van & Benefits Package.


We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Technician to join a leading water utilities business in the South East. Working from home, you will be responsible for operating, servicing and maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment, including pumps, motors, gas dosing equipment, PLC's, telemetry, and chemical analysers.

The Job

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for…

  • Maintaining a wide variety of electrical equipment.
  • Assisting other members of the Production Team, on larger jobs.
  • Supervising contractors.
  • Site manual updates and maintenance.
  • Issuing Permits to Work.
  • Ensuring plants are clean and tidy.
  • Promoting health and safety.

The Candidate.

Candidates are expected to have an electrical maintenance background, underpinned by an industry qualification (NVQ/ BTECH/ C&G).

This would suit a recent forces leaver, looking to develop their skills. (Army / Navy / RAF)
17th Edition is desirable, but not essential.

Candidates will have a demonstrable experience maintaining mechanical and ICA plant and equipment.
