We are currently seeking to recruit an Electrical Technician / Maintenance Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician to conduct electrical service and maintenance activities on a state-of-the-art 24/7 process plant based in the Romford area.
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Service & maintenance activities on the process plant - This will include motors, PLC control systems, 3 phase electrical systems, conveyors etc.
- Electrical inspection, testing and fault finding activities.
- Ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out within defined budgets
- Ensuring compliance with all health & safety & legal requirements
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you will need to have proven experience in a similar Electrical Technician / Maintenance Electrician role, with a relevant electrical engineering qualification (apprenticeship / HNC / HND / City & Guilds / 17th Edition etc.). A background working in the renewable energy / process plant / marine / biogas / power generation sectors will also be beneficial.
This is a permanent position based in the Romford area and you will be required to work as part of a shift pattern (4 on, 4 off days & nights).
They're offering competitive rates plus shift allowance for this position, with earnings ranging between £28,000 to £34,000 depending on experience.
