Electrical Maintenance Technician

£40,000 - £45,000

We are currently seeking to recruit an Electrical-bias Maintenance Technician / Electrical Engineer / Multi-skilled Technician, to work on a new power generating plant based in the Milton Keynes area. Our client is a leading company building a new Energy from Waste power station, and ASTUTE are responsible for developing a strong maintenance team to ensure the site runs at optimum capacity.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Planned and preventative maintenance across the site
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Electrical maintenance on heavy process plant / power generating equipment (PLCs, fault finding, motors, pumps, etc.)
  • Ensuring that the plant runs at optimum capacity with minimal downtime
  • Other duties as required

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved at the early stages of a new-build power generating facility.

To be considered for this position, you should ideally be a Time-served Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) with some Mechanical knowledge. You should also have relevant experience maintaining large/heavy process equipment, and be flexible towards working shifts/days. Those with a Marine Engineering/Forces background will also be considered.

The package on offer for this position includes an attractive salary in the range of £40,000-£45,000, plus good company benefits.
