Electrical Technician - Manufacturing

Up to £33,000 plus benefits (Shift based)


We are currently seeking to recruit an Electrical bias Multi-skilled Technician / Electrical Technician / Maintenance Technician, to carry out planned & reactive maintenance on a range of equipment including steam systems, boilers and pneumatics, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a shift-based roll working on a 3-shift rotation, Monday to Friday, based in the Leicester area.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on equipment including boilers, pneumatics, inverter drives, etc.
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Mechanical servicing and fault finding
  • Operating workshop equipment such as lather, pillar drill, etc.
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, Time served Apprenticeship, or similar) and be 17th Edition certified. You should have experience working on steam raising plant, ideally in a fast-paced engineering environment.

The package on offer for this role includes an attractive salary in the range of £28,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits including holidays, pension and overtime. This is a mon-fri based role, working on a 3-shift weekly rotation of earlies, lates and nights.
