Shift Electrical Technician
£35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits
Crawley, West Sussex

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician / Electrical Technician, to carry out a variety of daily maintenance & operations tasks on a state-of-the-art Process Plant near Crawley, West Sussex area. Our client is a leading organisation within the waste management sector, with the opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team.

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
  • Electrical fault-finding & diagnostics
  • Maintenance on PLCs, motors, conveyors, etc.
  • Testing and inspection
  • Minimising downtime, ensuring plant runs at optimum performance
  • Troubleshooting
  • Working as part of a shift pattern
  • Other duties as required.

To be considered for this position, you must have relevant Electrical qualifications (Time-served Apprenticeship, C&G, 17th Edition, etc.) You should have experience working in a heavy process environment (ideally waste management, power generation etc.) and a working knowledge of maintenance practices including electrical fault-finding on PLCs. Those with an ex-forces background will also be considered.

This package on offer includes an attractive salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000, plus benefits including holidays, cover day pay, pension, etc. This is a shift-based position working on a 4 on / 4 off days & nights shift pattern.
