Electrical Safety Engineer - HV Offshore Wind
Colchester, Essex base
£48,000 plus shift c£9500 plus c£4000 offshore allowance & 10% bonus
Our client, a leading UK provider of renewable energy, require a qualified Electrical Engineer / Technician to play an integral role in commissioning of a large offshore wind farm & perform the duties of SAP / Safety Controller including isolation of HV plant.
Responsibilities…Your role will initially form part of the projects commissioning team & then move to operations/maintenance to provide service & repair to a fully operational offshore wind farm / wind turbines. A flexible work ethic will be required due to operational environment combined with the highest work standards combines with an understanding that you will also help ensure compliance with all H&S requirements.
Skills and Experience...To be considered for this position you will need to have an Electrical Qualification to HNC or above, with previous experience of HV switching, & previous wind turbine OEM exposure.
A full driving licence is essential for this role. Based in Colchester, Essex, this role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich etc
