Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Our client is one of the UK's leading waste management, recycling and renewable energy companies and are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their expanding team in Sheffield.
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician your responsibilities will include but not be limited too;
- Ensuring all plant and equipment is improved and maintained to its maximum performance
- Undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard and in a cost-effective manner
- Maintaining and updating all CMM systems
- Completing risk assessments and ensuring safe practices
- Providing reports and updates regarding compliance
- Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults and systems
- Minimising downtime
Skills & Requirements
To be considered for this position you will need to have a recognised Level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or similar. You will have experience of working with low levels of supervision in a high-pressure production environment. Maintenance experience from within industries such as power generation, waste management, heavy process or industrial will be seen as beneficial.
Experience with PLCs, control systems, inverter drives, root cause analysis, hydraulics and pneumatics, plant and process environments are required.
