Job Description

Electrical Field Service Engineer - Thermal Hydrolysis

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Location - Sleaford

We are currently seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Technician/Engineer to be involved in the operation and maintenance on Anaerobic Digestion and Thermal Hydrolysis sites across Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and West Norfolk. Our client is a leading name in the UK's renewable energy sector.

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance related activities on plant and related ancillary such as conveyor systems, hoppers, pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, steam boilers etc.
  • Trouble shooting and fault finding
  • Out of hours call outs when required
  • Ordering and installations of spares
  • Monitoring external contractors
  • Service reports
  • Electrical and instrument components and electrical test equipment
  • Ensuring good housekeeping
  • Other duties as required

The ideal applicant will have prior experience in the renewable energy sector i.e. anaerobic digestion, biogas, thermal hydrolysis, waste water treatment etc. an electrical or mechanical qualification (HNC/NVQ/City& Guilds). You will have worked with PLC's previously and have 3 phase knowledge.

This is a full time salaried position and is offering up to £35,000 depending on experience along with a company van, tools, private healthcare, bonus and holiday.
