Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy / Process Plants

Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months may extend)

c£55,000 (pro-rata)

Guildford / Peterborough

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to fulfil a 6 month Fixed-Term contract, working within the Renewable Energy / Process Engineering industry. You will work closely with the project team, preparing and verifying electrical engineering works and supervising test/commissioning plans.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing drawings for power line diagrams
  • Reviewing electrical designs
  • Inspection and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Preparing test plans
  • Authoring technical documents
  • Other duties as required

To be considered, you should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or apprenticeship trained with equivalent experience. You must have experience working within either the Process, Food, Pharmaceutical, Biochemical industries and those with HV experience are advantageous.

This role will require travel to project sites, plus you will be expected to attend Head Office meetings in Guildford at least twice a week. Project sites are based around Yorkshire and East Anglia.

This is a fixed-term 6-month contract, paying c£55,000 (pro-rata) with the potential to extend further.
