£35,000 - £40,000 + van, benefits
Field Based - South East England
We are currently seeking to recruit an Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Technician / Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer / E&I Technician / EC&I Engineer, to work on a range of Renewable Energy and Power Generation sites across the South East of the UK.
As a, Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Planned and preventative maintenance across the sites
- Providing specialist maintenance, repair & troubleshooting to support all EC&I equipment
- Ensuring that essential services such as software backups and PLC programs are kept up to date & available
- Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation maintenance on heavy process plant / power generating equipment (PLCs, sensors, fault finding, etc.)
- Ensuring that the plant runs at optimum capacity with minimal downtime
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you should ideally be a Time-served Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) with a strong understanding of Controls & Instrumentation. PLC programming & fault finding knowledge is essential. You should also have relevant experience maintaining large / heavy process equipment and be flexible working across multiple sites based in the South East of England.
The package on offer for this position includes an attractive salary in the range of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience, plus company van and benefits. This is a field-based position, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
