EICA PROJECT MANAGER

ALTRINCHAM

12 MONTH CONTRACT

UP TO £30 Per Hour (Experience Dependant)

ASTUTE Technical are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with an EICA background and Water Industry experience.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for a number of projects related to the Water Sector and bring with you demonstrable project management experience. Working closely with the Contracts Manager and Commissioning Managers you will ensure that all services are delivered in a cost effective manner.

Main responsibilities to include;

  • Managing multiple medium and small projects
  • End to end lifecycle of projects
  • Assist in preparation of tenders
  • Manage project resource
  • Ensure project is delivered to quality, time and cost
  • Manage and evaluate project risks and where necessary escalate
  • Be responsible for handover plans and project training
  • Cost forecasting
  • Engage within the team to ensure all team members are focused to deliver the project

The ideal candidate;

  • Will have a working knowledge of the Water Sector
  • Ideally have experience working on the United Utilities Framework (Highly Desirable)
  • Will hold a Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APMP
  • Will have significant project management experience
  • Have strong knowledge of TCQi delivery of projects
  • Have a track record in managing multi skilled teams
  • Be familiar with managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Have sound financial management skill in an Earned Value and forecast v planned environment
  • Strong knowledge of ICA technologies
  • Be familiar with promoting safety culture
  • Possess a working knowledge of health and safety regulations (CDM, HASAWA etc)
  • Have excellent communication skills
