EC&I Technician - Power Generation
Salary - £35,000-£40,000 DoE + Benefits
Midlands based - UK Travel

We are currently seeking to recruit an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Technician / EC&I Technician / Electrical biased Field Service Technician, to carry out a range of installation, commissioning & maintenance activities across the UK.

As an EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Installations, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of microturbines & CHP units
  • Traveling in a field-based position, carry out planned & reactive works
  • PLC programming & fault finding, inverter-based power electrics works
  • Ensuring documents are updated and accurate
  • Liaising with Service Managers, Engineers and Clients & Customers
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant electrical engineering qualification (HNC, Time Served Apprenticeship, etc.) and be competent with controls & instrumentation. You must be happy to travel in a field-based position and spend time away from home. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you must be eligible to wok in the UK.

The package on offer for this role includes an attractive basic salary in the region of £35,000 - £40,000, based on a 40hr (avg) week, plus training & development, company van, etc.
