We are currently recruiting an EC&I Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance department of a 24/7 power plant in Nottingham. This new station, using proven technology, will produce electrical power from waste that would otherwise have gone to landfill.

Responsibilities... Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the EC&I Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for planned & preventative maintenance across the site, responding to breakdowns & conducting electrical/PLC maintenance on heavy process plant / power generating equipment (conveyors, pumps, motors, etc.) to help ensure that the plant runs at optimum capacity with minimal downtime.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience... To be considered for this position you will need to have a recognised apprenticeship/ONC/HNC/HND/ONC in Electrical Engineering or similar. Maintenance experience required from within a relevant industry (power generation, energy from waste, waste management, heavy process). Candidates from CCGT, coal & biomass power stations will also be considered as will those with an ex-forces background.
There is a salary c£35,000 to £45,000 plus benefits with this role, & is a day rota position working Monday to Friday (plus an element of call out as plant runs 24/7)
