EC&I Programming Engineer
Duration - 3-6 months contract role
Start date - February 18th
Rate - £400 - £425 per day
Location - Sheffield (potential to travel across parts of Europe &USA)

Our client, a leading company working within the renewable energy sector, currently require an Electrical & Instrumentation / E&I Programming Engineer to join their team based in Sheffield. This is a field-based role covering sites across the UK and internationally (Europe / America) and you'll be responsible for the programming, installation, commissioning and servicing of electrical and controls systems.

As an E&I Engineer, you will be tasked with carrying out installation, commissioning, fault finding and repair activities on electrical systems, PLCs, controls and instrumentation. This will involve working on process equipment and machinery, as well as carrying out PLC programming and fault finding on Siemens PLC control systems.

In order to be considered for this role, you'll need to hold a relevant instrumentation / electrical engineering qualification (HNC / HND / apprenticeship etc.), as well as experience in the maintenance, servicing and installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment. You will also need a sound knowledge of Siemens PLC's such as, Siemens PCS7 and Siemens S7, including programming.

As this is a field-based role covering sites across the UK & internationally, you must hold a full UK driving licence and valid passport.
