EC&I Engineer
Up to £45,000 plus vehicle
Norwich, Norfolk

Our client currently requires an Instrument & Control Engineer / EC&I Engineer to be the company expert on all aspects of the Instrumentation & Control systems of the operational AD plants providing renewable power and gas to their local surrounding areas. They are one of the UK's leading operators of renewable electrical power generation and gas to grid injection in their sector.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Instrument & Control Engineer will analyse & document the instrumentation & control systems of the operational plants. The Engineering Manager is responsible for all activities related to the operations & maintenance of the Anaerobic Digestion plants & ancillary plant and is supported by a team of specialist engineers and technicians.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working independently as an Instrument & Control Engineer in a process industry company or with an engineering contractor to the food, biochemical, petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries. Familiarity with Siemens plc's and Siemens Step 7 programming language is required.

IT literacy is essential with a relevant engineering qualification, preferably at or above HNC level or a relevant apprenticeship would be required.
The role is home based covering an area from Doncaster to Lincoln, then south to Kings Lynn & Norwich & will involve travel to plant sites. Occasional weekend or after-hours work will be required.
