Crane Service Engineer - Marine Industry / Offshore

Up to £25,000 (OTE £45,000)

Gosport, Hampshire - Overseas travel

Aberdeen, Scotland - Overseas travel

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Crane Service Engineer / Crane Maintenance Technician, to carry out service, breakdown and refurbishment maintenance on a range of Offshore & Marine Cranes and associated equipment. Our client is a leading supplier of Deck Machinery across the world, with the opportunity for an experienced Crane Technician to join their field-based team.

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance on Davits, Winches, Cranes, Lifeboats, etc
  • Service, breakdown and refurbishment
  • International travel, including working offshore
  • Working away from home up to 3 weeks at a time

To be considered for this role, you must have mechanical engineering background, with electrical & hydraulics experience. Previous experience maintaining Cranes is essential. This is a field-based role therefore you must have a valid passport, full driving licence and be eligible to work in the UK.

The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary up to £25,000, with generous overtime and allowances paid for working away, meaning an achievable OTE (opportunity to earn) up to £45,000.
