Control Room Operator - Renewable Energy

£25-35k + benefits

Our client, a leading company working in the renewable energy sector, currently require a plant operator / plant controller / operations technician / control room operator to join their team. You will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the 24/7 plant operations, ensuring the maximum productivity and minimum outage times.

As a plant operator, you'll be tasked with controlling and monitoring operations using the plant control systems, so experience of PLC or SCADA would be advantageous. You'll also be responsible for liaising closely with the maintenance team to bring assets back online and ensure equipment performance is maximised.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in a similar operations position, ideally in a power generation / renewable energy / process plant environment. Experience in a control room environment, working with SCADA, DCS or PLC control is also essential.

They're offering a competitive salary in the region of £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience and you will be working as part of 24/7 shift pattern.
