Control Room Operator/Administrator

3 Month Contract

Oxford

ASAP Start

Up to £15.00 Per Hour, Limited Company Rate

Our Client is a leading organisation working within the Power Generation/Renewable Energy industry.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Control Room Operator/Administrator. This role is likely to start out on a day shift pattern, before transferring to a shift pattern which will include day and night shifts to cover 24/7 operation.

As a Control Room Operator/Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • 24/7 monitoring, control and remote start-up of plants across the UK
  • Liaising with the Reactive Maintenance Technicians to re-route & call out where needed to bring assets back online
  • Ensuring equipment performance is maximised through operations
  • Lone working from a control room environment
  • Being part of a shift rota to cover 24/7 operation
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have relevant experience working in a control room environment in an operations role, preferably within Process, Power, Manufacturing or other control room based roles. You should have strong organisational and communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. SCADA Controls experience would be desirable for this role.
