Control Engineer - Renewable Energy

£30,000 - £45,000 (D.O.E) plus benefits

Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Lincoln - Regional

We are currently seeking to recruit a Control Systems Engineer / Control Engineer / EC&I Engineer, to carry out a variety of control systems & electrical maintenance activities (PLC programming, fault finding, installations, commissioning, etc.) of a range of plant/biogas/anaerobic digestion equipment throughout East Anglia area. Our client is a leading organisation in the Renewable Energy sector, who provide advanced solution for anaerobic digestion/biogas plants throughout Europe.

As an Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation activities
  • Field service maintenance on plant
  • Installation & commissioning of equipment
  • Assisting in the design of electrical & control systems
  • Siemens PLC fault finding and programming
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification (time-served apprenticeship, EC&I Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, etc.) and ideally experience working within the Renewable Energy sector (Anaerobic Digestion, Power Generation, Heavy Process). You should have a working knowledge of Siemens PLCs, competent in fault finding and programming, and be open to travelling around the East Anglia area in a field based role.

The package on offer for this position includes a salary in the range of £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience), and benefits including pension, holidays, bonus, etc. This is a field based role therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
