Contracts Manager - Green Energy
Total package c£62,000
Our client, an innovative provider of power in the exciting Green Energy sector require a CIPS qualified Contracts Manager, reporting to the Procurement Manager, to improve tendering & evaluation of supply chain contracts.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement your duties will include:
- Manage & develop the contract management process.
- Execute contracts with suppliers & manufacturers that benefit & deliver company objects.
- Build & maintain great commercial relationships with new & existing supply chain.
- Deputise for & support the Procurement Manager in delivering department key objectives.
To be successful in this role you will need expert experience in developing, managing & negotiating contracts, a contract, procurement or purchasing background in an engineering, technical, power generation or Utilities environment & good commercial relationship building skills. A University level education or CIPS qualification would be very advantageous.
Full, clean driving licence required as travel to suppliers is a key part of role, based from Northampton 2-3 days per week, you will travel to suppliers to build relationships the other 2-3 days per week.
This is an interesting opportunity to enter the expanding Green Energy sector for a person with transferable skills.
Salary in range from c£40,000 to £45,000 plus very good bonus, great car allowance, pension, 25 days holiday, healthcare etc
