We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Consents Manager, responsible for managing and gaining planning consents for projects within the offshore / onshore wind energy sector. Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy industry, with the opportunity for an experienced Consents Manager to join their team based in Swindon.
As the Consents Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overall responsibility of offshore / onshore wind farm consents
- Managing consent applications within strict timescales and budgets
- Discharging and amending consent conditions
- Securing new licences and planning permissions as required
- Manging construction-relations consent compliance activities
- Interfacing with 3rd parties, stakeholders, general public and statutory bodies
- Managing compliance with legal agreements, including leases
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you should have a relevant degree or equivalent training within the Environmental / Science / Engineering industries. You must be competent in environmental science, planning or similar fields, with experience of consenting in the offshore / wind sector, as well as renewable energy or energy/utility sector consenting.
This position could be full time or part time, min 4 days per week, and you must have a full UK driving licence. There will be requirements to travel to multiple sites across the UK and overseas, so a degree of flexibility is needed.
