Our client, a manufacturing market leader in its niche field within the high-tech electronics sector, require a Compliance Engineer / Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with relevant legislative product related concerns such as export control, product directives & National & International Quality Standards.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will ensure compliance with legislation, including UK, USA, EU, China & wider. You will ensure compliance tests are specified correctly, & manage the process for product compliance, through to issuing of certification & labelling. You will also support the Quality Manager to oversee configuration management, product documentation & change control processes.
You should be a technical person, either high level science or engineering or qualified by experience, combined with good track record of success working in a highly regulated environment. Particularly of interest would be export controlled regulations. You should also have experience of compliance test, preferably within electrical / electronic industry. You must also be able to demonstrate the project management of the development of policies & procedures to ensure compliance. You must also be fully IT literate with a full, clean driving licence as there will be weekly travel to the Midlands as part of the management team.
Salary in the range from £40,000 up to £45,000 depending on skills & experience plus pension & healthcare & life assurance, working Monday to Friday.
Option to hold this role part time available.
