Compliance Manager - Waste Management
c£40,000 plus pension, 25 days etc

We are currently seeking to recruit a H&S / Compliance Manager, to ensure that plant operations are carried out in a safe & environmentally compliant manner on a state-of-the-art 24/7 waste treatment facility process plant, which provides renewable power to local surrounding areas. Our client is a leading proponent of renewable electrical power generation, designing & building turnkey energy from waste plants throughout the UK.

As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure that operations comply with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Continuous improvement in company HSEQ performance
  • Support management in achieving & maintaining compliance with Environmental legislation.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health & safety & legal requirements
  • Promoting & demonstrating a consistently high HSEQ ethic.

To be considered for this position, you should have the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, a successful track record in the waste management or energy from waste sector, combined with current & relevant experience in HS&E & /or Compliance Management.

This is a permanent position based in the Milton Keynes area; due to the location of the plant you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site. Working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the range of c£40,000 plus company benefits.
