Commissioning Engineer
Duration - 6 Months (Possible extension)
Brentwood
£300 -£350 a day
September start

Our Client is a leading global provider of consulting, engineering, construction and management services in water, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors. They have planned, designed, built and managed many of the world's largest and most technologically advanced projects and programmes.

As Commissioning Engineer, you will bring demonstrable commissioning experience and practical skills to the commissioning team. Working closely with the Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for planning, executing and documenting of commissioning and handover activities on projects and programme of works in a safe manner, fully in accordance with company processes, systems, procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working in collaboration with the construction team, ensuring that commissioning activities are planned safely and to required quality standards and specifications
  • Providing support throughout the commissioning phase of the project
  • Updating of commissioning documentation including site reports and assisting with O&M manuals
  • Carrying out and recording of all commissioning tests
  • Liaising with onsite subcontractors
  • Reporting to the Commissioning Manager and updating relevant personnel on site progress
  • Adhered to health and safety regulations and reporting any incidents appropriately
  • Assisting with training site operatives



Essential Requirements:

  • ONC, HNC or equivalent either electrical, mechanical or ICA
  • Commissioning experience gained within water treatment (non infrastructure)
  • Relevant CSCS card
  • Commissioning in a contracting environment
  • Working within a certified quality management system
  • First Aid
