Commissioning Advisor

Start Date January 2019
As Commissioning Advisor, you will be working on behalf of the Client on a Gasification plant. You will need to be able to supervise and support the current commissioning teams.
Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Advising and directing on behalf of the commissioning manager on all activity related to their scope of works
  • Assisting in the Preparation and implementation of commissioning plans across relevant sites
  • Advising the Mechanical/Electrical Commissioning teams to develop and produce technical solutions, procedures and documentation for all phases of commissioning activities including programmes, test documentation, inspection and test plans, method statements and risk assessments
  • Troubleshooting problems and carrying out on-site fixes
  • Interfacing with the client as required by the Commissioning Manager to progress the Project

Essential Requirements:

  • Commissioning experience gained within Energy from Waste, Biomass, Gasification, Power Generator or Anaerobic Digestion
  • Experience of interfacing with Client/Principal Contractor
  • Knowledge and proficient experience of the commissioning cycle
  • Experience in compiling handover documentation
  • Excellent management and communication skills
  • An ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
