Commercial Manager (Wind Farms)

£80,000 plus benefits & pension

London (or Swindon)

Our client, an innovative provider of renewable energy in the growing offshore Wind Farm power generation sector require a Commercial Manager to join the offshore Wind Farm team based in Central London (or Swindon) to ensure best route to market for Wind Farm output plus negotiation & optimisation of contracts.

Your varied duties will include:

  • Lead on assessment on best routes to market of Offshore Wind Farms
  • Contract negotiation
  • Structure & execute Power Purchase Agreements
  • Develop Green product marketing strategy
  • Provide revenue assumptions
  • Critical analysis on legislation change

You will need a deep understanding of the various options available in each key market for routes to market for renewable power & the pros & cons of each option. You should also have several years' experience in the assessment, negotiation & implementation of routes to market and PPAs. Strong numerical skills with modelling abilities, plus a degree in business, economics or related essential. Excellent communication skills, with commercial awareness also very important.

Full, clean driving licence required as travel will be part of the role.

Based in Central London, with an alternative base in Swindon, this is an interesting opportunity to enter the Renewable Energy / Wind Farm sector for the successful applicant.
