We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager for an Energy from Waste Project based in Scotland. The successful Commercial Manager will have experience/knowledge of different forms of contract such as NEC, JCT and FIDIC. This is a permanent position and will be based on site for the first couple of years, after this, you will be required to travel to a different project in the UK.
Reporting to the Commercial Director the Commercial Manager will be responsible for;
- Develop Contracting Strategies and Procurement Plans
- Lead Negotiations
- Manage Clients accounts
- Manage Claims
- Full Commercial responsibilities for the site
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying and RICS or equivalent and have experience of working with a Main/Principle Contractor or large organisation as a minimum. Industry specific experience is not paramount but you must have knowledge and experience of being a Commercial Manager for a large organisation on a multimillion pound project.
