Our client, a power generation sector / energy providing organisation who maintain & operate power plants around the UK, are currently seeking to recruit a Commercial Graduate to work on projects that enhance the value of company power plant assets whilst also leading the maintenance of existing site portfolio.
Reporting to the Commercial Director in the company head office, you will:
- Assess the value & opportunities within National Grid services & help develop market strategies.
- Identify Market opportunities for the development of new projects.
- Negotiate & manage contracts for services, energy site suppliers etc.
- Work on value enhancing projects with the CEO & Commercial director.
- Other duties as required.
You should have at least a 2.1 degree in English, Business Studies, Marketing or similar commercial / business bias course with keen commercial acumen & strong drive. You need strong interpersonal skills & be able to take responsibility. IT literacy essential, with the ability to build Excel models. You should be keen to learn & grow as the company is expanding quickly. A demonstrable interest in the power generation &/or Renewable Energy sectors would be very advantageous.
This role will normally be based in Coventry but will involve occasional UK travel to existing & new build sites, hence it will be necessary to hold a driving licence.
Salary £25,000 plus non-contributory pension, life cover & up to 10% bonus.
