Commercial & Quality Manager - Landfill / Waste
Up to £37,000 plus benefits
Dunbar, Scotland

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial & Quality Manager, to source new waste contracts and optimise gate fees at multiple sites across Scotland. Our client is a leading organisation within the waste management sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Landfill Commercial & Quality Manager to join their team.

As the Commercial & Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing sales plan and business strategy.
  • Negotiating & securing new contracts.
  • Visiting customer sites.
  • Carrying out audits and inspecting facilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with fuel specification.
  • Taking samples and addressing non-conformances.
  • Other duties as required.

In order to be considered for this role, then you will need to have proven experience in a similar Commercial & Quality / Compliance management position, with a good knowledge of the landfill or waste management industries. You should also have an understanding of health & safety and waste legislation, strong contract negotiation skills, along with a full & valid driving licence as you're required to attend customer sites.

They're offering a competitive salary of up to £37,000 depending on experience, plus the company benefits package.
