Cladding and Roofing Manager
6 Month Contract
South London
Negotiable Rates
ASAP Start

Our Client is looking for a Cladding Manager to work on the final stages of the Cladding and roofing on a large Energy from Waste Power Plant.
Responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking day to day supervision of the final stages of the cladding and roofing on a large construction project
  • Managing the cladding and roofing work across the site and coordinate use of all resources including people, materials and equipment for effective and timely completion of work
  • Adhering to relevant Health and Safety legislation, ensuring full site SHE compliance and that all personnel adhere to safe working practices
  • Liaising with appropriate personnel to ensure the smooth running of projects e.g. Site Managers, Subcontractors and Clients
  • Attending review meetings, reporting on site progress as required
  • Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are carried out and followed so that staff and contractors conform to all instructions
  • Managing performance of teams including productivity and time keeping

Essential Requirements:

  • CSCS
  • Previous experience of working on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience of cladding and roofing in an industrial environment. Glass cladding experience is essential for this role
  • Ability to organise, plan and manage workloads
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Good management skills with a track record of delivering excellent results
