Job Description

C&I Engineer
Alton, Hampshire

Introduction…
I am seeking an experienced C&I Engineer to coordinate maintenance on a gas storage facility in Hampshire, as well as improve control and safety systems. This position is a contract role for roughly six months initially.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, as a C&I Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing site safety, development and maintenance.
  • Completing the Design and installation of instrumentation.
  • Testing and commissioning SIS and Control Systems.
  • Implementing and Designing new process control systems.
  • Providing technical support to the operations team.
  • Producing SIL calculations.



Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Must hold at least a HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Have strong Engineering knowledge with around 5 years' experience in a related industry such as; Oil and Gas or other Heavy Industry.
  • ATEX Standards.
  • Knowledge of PLC's and HMI's.
  • Experience with Loop design and procurement.



Rate & Contract Length

  • Six-month position (Initially).
