Assistant Shift Manager - Power Generation

£25,000 - £28,000 + overtime (shift based)

Avonmouth, Bristol

We are currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Shift Manager / Shift Supervisor, to oversee and supervise the day-to-day operations around a 24/7 process power station. Our client is a leading organisation within the power generation sector, with the opportunity for an Assistant Shift Manager to join their team based in the Avonmouth, Bristol area.

As the Assistant Shift Manager, you will be responsible:

  • Day-to-day supervision across the site
  • Planning and organising workloads/rotas
  • Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
  • Organise and inspect/maintain mobile plant and operational equipment
  • Issue work permits
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you should have good supervisory experience within a heavy process industry (power generation, waste management, chemical process, or similar). You must have completed IOSH training (NEBOSH desired) and those with BOAS, Steam or SCADA experience would be advantageous.

The package on offer for this role includes a basic salary up to £28,000, plus overtime (paid at x1.5) and holidays. This is a shift-based position working on a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern.
