Assistant Project Manager
Duration: 6 months with chance of extension
Rate: £30 per hour

We are recruiting an Assistant Project Manager for a research and supply company based in Abingdon. The ideal Assistant Project Manager will have experience coordinating lifecycle projects within an engineering and electronics environment, ranging from £100k to £500k value. A background in aviation, motorsport or R&D is an advantage.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead 1 to 2 projects and be responsible for:

  • Running projects full lifecycle and keep the projects on target.
  • Reporting risk, status and business impact to Directors and PMO.
  • Managing teams across a variety of disciplines.
  • Budget management.
  • Meeting project based objectives through delivery of quality based KPI's.
  • Liaising with the customer and stakeholders.



It is essential you hold a degree in Engineering, Physics or Project Management and desirable to be trained in PRINCE II or PMP. Ideally you will have a proven track record for delivering high volume, technical engineering projects.
