We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Assembly Technician / Production Technician, to work as part of a close team in the build, assembly and testing of electromechanical equipment. Our client is an expanding organisation within the renewable energy field, seeking an Assembly Technician to develop within their team.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Unpacking, handling and storing equipment and components appropriately
- Assembling products in line with production schedule
- Preparing products for shipment
- Performing modifications and assisting with set up / testing of new products
- Using initiative to identify best practice
- Developing within the business and involvement with other departments (i.e Research & Development)
- Reporting on stock control
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience in assembling electromechanical equipment or working within a production experience. You should have relevant qualifications (HNC / HND / Apprenticeship / Degree) and have good computer skills as software testing is part of this position.

The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the region of £23,000-£25,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits. Working hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, however a degree of flexibility may be needed occasionally.
