About the role:

Astute's Power team is partnering with one of the leading construction providers for Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation sectors. They are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to provide Quantity Surveying services across MEP contracts.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Produce fully priced detailed bills of material costs, quantities, and labour hours from plan drawings and isometrics.
• Monitor financial costs and labour efficiencies as well as carrying out full construction take off.
• Deliver take offs clearly and coherently while understanding NRM2
• Ensure Timely and accurate CCS submissions on a monthly basis
• Prepare subcontract packages including agreeing contracts and manage until completion.
• Research RICS competencies
• Continuous improvement by finding and requesting opportunities to work that will better develop the business

Professional qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following:

• 3-5 years experience
• Previous experience working in a GC role (desirable)

• £50,000 - £60,000
