About the role:

Astute's Nuclear team is currently working with a growing company in the sector to recruit for a Safety Case Engineer to work on a permanent basis, in the Warrington office.

The Safety Case Engineer role comes with a Salary of £45,000- £55,000 depending on experience.
Key skills:
  • Provision of safety and assurance support and advice to clients in the civil nuclear sector, including existing generation, new build and waste and decommissioning.
  • Preparation of safety case documents for a variety of applications in accordance with different clients' safety management arrangements.
  • Fulfilling the role of Author, Reviewer, Verifier of Project Manager for Safety Case Projects as required.
  • Leading Hazard Identification Studies (HAZIDs, HAZOPs, SWIFTs etc)
  • Preparing Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments (e.g. FTAs, FMEA, ETA, QRA)
