About the role:

Astute's Nuclear team working with a leading company in the Nuclear sector to recruit for a Design Manager on a 2 year contract, based out of their Capenhurst site.

The Design Manager role comes with £70.00- £80.00 per hour Umbrella
Key skills:
  • Identification of proportionate and appropriate design solutions
  • Ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement in projects
  • Ensuring a joined up approach between engineering disciplines is achieved
  • Ensuring logical, achievable, integrated cross-discipline schedules are developed
  • Accountable for monitoring delivery of the technical aspects of projects in line with the agreed scope and schedule. Ensuring any deviance is appropriately justified, understood and managed.
  • Escalating issues where resource conflicts between projects exist.
