Astute's Power team is partnered with a global company who specialise in the Energy sector, who invest in employees' professional development, to recruit for a Project Manager for a home-based role with national travel.

The Project Manager role comes with a salary of up to £60,000 + £8000 car allowance + benefits.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Energy Projects Construction Manager you will:
  • Meet the delivery programme for the Construction of Energy Projects ranging from £0.25 million to £10 million.
  • Work across multiple business units.
  • Ensure projects are being successfully executed within budget, on time, and in line with specifications and standards.
  • Ensure activity on site is in compliance with regulations, permits and Veolia's internal procedures.
  • Provide governance of projects including reviews of project programme/risks/costs/margin as well as other due diligence.
  • Promote a positive safety culture to manage the highest levels of health and safety.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders.
  • Lead best practise in project management techniques and ensure all project management process are being implemented.
  • Provide regular reports for all projects including time, cashflow, budget and risks.
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in executing energy/sustainability/carbon reduction projects.
  • HND or Degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines within budget.
  • Experience in low carbon technologies.
Personal skills:
The Project Manager role would suit someone who is:
  • Has good communication skills and is able to deliver reports effectively.
  • Able to be innovative to promote growth in the market.
  • Has strong influencing and negotiating skills with high-level stakeholders.
