Workshop Team Leader/Foreman


Up to £18ph - DOE

45hours per week - 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday - Saturday on Rota basis

Our client is a global leader in environmental solutions, providing a comprehensive range of waste, water and energy management services throughout the UK and are currently looking for a Workshop Team Leader/Foreman to lead, manage and develop their workshop team based at their Basildon site.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Workshop Team Leader/Foreman reporting to the Workshop Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but not be limited too;

  • To be the first point of contact for all technician job allocations and performance
  • To support all the workshop operations supervisors
  • To ensure all records, data systems and processes are fully compliant
  • To complete weekly workshop checks and inspections, in line with company policies
  • To monitor repair functions both within the workshop and external maintenance providers
  • To ensure accurate, timely, cost effective working along side data capture and quality checks

Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:

  • City and Guilds, HNC, ONC or equivalent
  • A strong proven background in Workshop Supervision
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Experience Environmental Diagnostic systems
  • In depth knowledge of a wide range of vehicles, application and plant
  • LGV Licence and CPC - Desirable
