Windfarm Manager - Onshore Wind
Up to £50,000, plus benefits
Devon or West Durham

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Onshore Windfarm Manager / O&M Manager, to be responsible for a number of windfarms scattered throughout the UK. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy industry, with the opportunity for a Windfarm Manager to join their team based in Devon or West Durham.

As the Windfarm Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing site safety and access to sites
  • Monitoring and management of the wind farms
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
  • Performing electrical switching duties, including HV and fault diagnosis
  • Senior Authorised Person in accordance to safety rules (training provided)
  • Operational management / controller
  • Optimisation of technical performance
  • Travelling between onshore windfarm sites
  • Other duties as required

To be considered, you must have at least 5 years' experience working in a similar position (Onshore Windfarm Manager / O&M Manager), plus experience and capability to work at heights. You should have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, and ideally have experience isolating equipment. Travel between sites is required, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential, as is the rights to work in the UK.

The package on offer includes an attractive basic salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits including bonus, pension, holidays and healthcare.
