Building on a strong academic background in a relevant field, you will be able to balance your technical expertise with confident and clear communication skills, technical authorship, and commercial awareness, and be interested in applying your knowledge to deliver a varied remit of practical solutions, to include :
- Geological characterisation
- Groundwater flow processes
- Radionuclide mobility in geological media
- Radiological risk assessment
- Nuclear safety case development
- Environmental Impact Assessments relating to radioactive waste disposal
An MSc minimum in quantitative earth sciences, applied mathematics, physics, chemistry or engineering will support your application, and roles are available from graduate through to principal status.
The ability to obtain UK SC level clearance is mandatory, and current cleared status would be a distinct advantage.
What's on offer
The opportunity to join a hugely respected consultancy, and help contribute to their ongoing success, while developing your own status as a subject matter expert in a niche but vital field supporting a global clean energy future.
Permanent staff will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package alongside a generous salary offer dependent on your skills and experience. Junior consultants have an enviable chance to learn from an excellent pool of senior level mentors, and experienced consultants may be able to work remotely.
